About

Common information

  • In addition to providing hands-on assistance during childbirth, I also offer emotional support, which is at least (if not more!) as important as my physical assistance. I also consider positive, supportive communication to be essential, and I often use it in my daily work.

Education

  • Parent, Kossuth Zsuzsa Secondary School of Health Care, Vocational School and High School(2000)

Courses

  • I am a committed advocate of natural childbirth support, so I have expanded my knowledge by taking various therapeutic courses (e.g., aromatherapy), and I have continued to strive to learn, grow, and gain experience ever since.
  • Basic birth doula training

Job experience

  • I have also been working as a midwife in charge of the delivery room.(2019-)
  • I started working as a graduate midwife in an obstetrics clinic in Budapest, which, although incredibly medicalised (a series of routine procedures), I felt I was in the right place. I learned about womanhood, childbirth, birth and motherhood by attending each birth. I was witness to phenomena and processes that are not taught in school and that can only be experienced there, at the birth bedside.(2000)

Language knowledge

  • Hungarian
