Job experience
In 2000, I started working as a graduate midwife in an obstetrics clinic in Budapest, which, although incredibly medicalised (a series of routine procedures), I felt I was in the right place. I learned about womanhood, childbirth, birth and motherhood by attending each birth. I was witness to phenomena and processes that are not taught in school and that can only be experienced there, at the birth bedside.
Since spring 2019, I have also been working as a midwife in charge of the delivery room.
