I graduated from the University of Szeged with a degree in clinical and health psychology. During my studies, I joined a fantastic research team, where I worked with medical specialists, psychiatrists, clinical psychologists and psychologists to investigate the possible links between emotional loss and cardiological physical symptoms.
This experience has been a defining experience for me, both in terms of the field and professional knowledge. Since then, I have been characterised by holistic thinking and a broad interest in my professional and personal life. I am fascinated by the functioning of mind, soul and body and exploring the connections between these modes of functioning.
Job experience
In recent years, I have worked mostly with adults in Hungarian and English in the framework of the Employee Assistance Programme, where workers and their families have had the opportunity to receive psychological support. They came to me and asked for help with a wide range of stuck situations, such as stress, work and personal conflicts, physical symptoms, illness, loss, death. I am currently working in a psychology practice, mainly with a bereavement focus, and in a public education institution, working with preschool children, their parents and teachers, also with a systems approach. In gastroenterology, I consider it very important to work with doctors and dieticians to get a complete picture of the physical and psychological condition of the people who come to us. When faced with illness or symptoms, it is important to provide psychological support, discovering the resources within the individual in the process, using coping strategies, stress management and relaxation techniques, immersing oneself in self-awareness, in a safe, accepting and supportive environment.
