I work full-time in the field of radiology and neuroradiology, where I perform the removal of non-bleeding and bleeding aneurysms, stroke-causing cerebral embolisms within the acute vascular system (catheter technique), the removal of abnormal vascular connections, and the dilatation of cervical stenoses (stenting).
I also deal with cement filling of fresh vertebral fractures causing pain (percutaneous verteboplasty-PVP), and the treatment of low back pain and nerve root effusion.
Education
I graduated from the Faculty of General Medicine of Semmelweis University in 1993.
I passed a specialist examination in radiology and then in neuroradiology, followed by a specialist examination in neurointerventional skills. During this time I spent a year in Ireland working in this field.
Job experience
I started my medical career at the Radiology Department of the Kútvölgy Hospital, then at the National Trauma Institute, and since 2000 I have been working at the National Institute of Clinical Neuroscience.
