I work full-time in the field of radiology and neuroradiology, where I perform the removal of non-bleeding and bleeding aneurysms, stroke-causing cerebral embolisms within the acute vascular system (catheter technique), the removal of abnormal vascular connections, and the dilatation of cervical stenoses (stenting).
I also deal with cement filling of fresh vertebral fractures causing pain (percutaneous verteboplasty-PVP), and the treatment of low back pain and nerve root effusion.
Education
I passed the neuroradiology board exam, followed by a neurointerventional proficiency exam. During that time, I spent a year working in this field in Ireland.(2008)
