I graduated from the Faculty of General Medicine of Semmelweis University in 1998, and in 2002 I received a degree in biomedical engineering from the Budapest University of Technology.
I qualified as an infant and paediatrician in 2004 and as an infant and paediatric cardiologist in 2007.
Job experience
My clinical work involves the diagnosis and management of paediatric heart disease, preoperative assessment, postoperative follow-up and care of children with heart disease. My work involves a large number of conventional chest wall and esophageal cardiac ultrasound examinations. I specialise in non-invasive ultrasound based imaging procedures. As a staff member I have been involved in the development of 3-dimensional paediatric cardiac ultrasound.
In Hungary, I was the first to perform transesophageal 3D and real-time 3D cardiac ultrasound in children. I am the author of several international and national articles on the subject and have presented several papers at international conferences.
