Dr Balázs Dezsényi is an expert in infectology, including parasitology. In addition to his medical practice, he also teaches at Semmelweis Medical University.
Education
I graduated from Semmelweis Medical University in Budapest in 2007. After that, I worked for 13 years in the Infectology Department of the National Institute of Hematology and Infectology (former Szent László Hospital) of the DPCK, where I was involved in the treatment of infectious diseases. I graduated in Infectology in 2013, in Tropical Medicine in 2015, and was appointed as an Adjunct Professor in 2019.
Job experience
I have been on study trips to Kenya, Sweden and several times to Italy. My special interest is clinical parasitology. I regularly lecture on this topic, mainly at national conferences, and have published several papers in reputable Hungarian and foreign journals.
For 13 years, I was involved in the treatment of infectious diseases in the Infectology Department of the National Institute of Hematology and Infectology (former St. László Hospital) of the DPCK.
