He graduated summa cum laude from Semmelweis University in 2002. He did research work in Oslo, obtaining a PhD. He qualified as an internist and nephrologist and gained clinical experience in Toronto. In Hungary he was head of the nephrology department at St. Margaret's Hospital. He is the recipient of several professional awards, editor of Hypertonia and Nephrologia, member of several societies. Family man, hobbies include cycling, music, reading and travel.
