After completing my residency in internal medicine and then my fellowship in endocrinology, I turned my focus to diabetology and obesity medicine. I believe that hormonal disorders, diabetes, and obesity cannot be treated in isolation—these systems are interconnected, and a true solution can only be achieved through a comprehensive approach. I believe that the balance of metabolic processes is the cornerstone of a healthy and fulfilling life.
In medicine, three things are particularly important to me: an accurate diagnosis, because that is the foundation of effective treatment; clear communication, so that the patient understands what is happening; and shared decision-making, because long-term success can only be achieved together.
