Dr. Rita Horváth is the head of the Stroke Department of the National Institute of Neurosciences, and head of the Neurosonology Laboratory of the OITI.
In her work, she considers communication with patients to be very important, as well as taking sufficient time to listen to the patient’s complaints and discuss them, involving the patient in the treatment, and thinking through the issues together.

She worked in the Stroke Department of the National Institute of Mental Health, Neurology, and Neurosurgery; he currently serves as the head of the Stroke Outpatient Clinic and the Neurosonology Laboratory, where he provides care for patients who have suffered a stroke, though his practice also encompasses the full spectrum of neurology. In the Neurosonology Laboratory at OMIII, he performs carotid duplex ultrasound, TCD, and TCCD examinations on patients.(2007-)
