Having been interested in immunology since its inception, I feel fortunate to be able to apply new immunologically-based therapies that are already being incorporated into everyday life, as well as to be involved in research into new medicines that are not yet in use.

I started my career as an internist and continued as a rheumatologist at the first rheumatology centre in the country, where I still work today, which provides a solid background for my work. I have been in private practice since 1994
