During my work, I quickly realized that precise surgical treatment or plaster cast immobilization of patients who had suffered accidents did not result in complete recovery if it was not followed by complex, individually tailored rehabilitation. After surgery or cast removal, all of my patients experienced severe swelling and pain at the site of the injury, which made physical therapy difficult.
