He spent years as a clinician at the Department of Haematology, Metabolism and Immunology at the SOTE III Internal Medicine, and after his specialization in internal medicine, his interest turned permanently to clinical cardiology. For the next 10 years he worked continuously in the cardiology department of the clinic (cardiology inpatient unit, coronary care unit, cardiology outpatient unit) and later headed the cardiology departments.
With 20 years of clinical experience at the university and 16 years as a senior consultant in a hospital department, he uses ECG and stress (EKG) methods, as well as echocardiography (cardiac ultrasound). These procedures are necessary for the accurate diagnosis and effective treatment of the most common heart diseases, such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias and hypertension.
