I consider screening to be of the utmost importance, because we can cure a disease detected early more effectively than one that is already at an advanced stage. The greatest satisfaction of my prescriptions is when I can tell the patient: "everything is fine". That is why I prefer to perform annual prostate cancer screening for men as well as testicular cancer screening for 20-40 year olds.
