As well as treating the full range of general ear, nose and throat complaints, his main specialities are the investigation and treatment of dizziness and balance disorders (otoneurology) and tinnitus. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in the latter two subjects under the New National Excellence Programme and has been actively researching and publishing since then, mainly in the field of dizziness and tinnitus.
