I consider tobacco smoke reduction to be of paramount importance in terms of treating and preventing respiratory diseases. I managed the Gödöllő Smoking Prevention Program for three years. Since 2010, I have been editing the Smoking and Quitting section of the medical journal AmegA.
I have always considered it extremely important for patients to understand their bodies and their illnesses, and to know exactly how to use their medications. To this end, I created the Tudoklub.hu portal, of which I am currently the editor-in-chief.
Education
I pursued my studies in pulmonology at the Pulmonary and Cardiovascular Hospital in Mosdós and at the Pulmonology Clinic of Semmelweis University.
I began working with respiratory diseases in 1983 at the Children's Clinic of the University of Szeged Medical School under the guidance of Professor Kálmán Gyurkovits.
Job experience
In 2010, my fellow patients and I founded LÉBE (National Association of Respiratory Patients), of which I have been president since 2019.
I have been actively involved in the development of new respiratory drugs since 2008.
