I graduated from the Faculty of General Medicine at Semmelweis University in 2005.
I qualified in internal medicine in 2010 and in gastroenterology in 2014.
Job experience
Between 2005 and 2018 I worked at the Gastroenterology Department of the Irgalmasrendi Hospital in Buda.
Since 2015, I have had the opportunity to participate in the professional work of the National Centre for Hepatology of the Hepatology Outpatient Department of St. John's Hospital as a gastroenterologist - hepatologist. In this centre, among others, chronic hepatitis (hepatitis B, C), immune liver diseases, fatty liver, liver diseases of toxic (alcohol, drugs) origin are diagnosed, treated and cared for. I was one of the first in the country to have the opportunity to gain extensive experience in ultrasound-based liver elastography (Fibroscan).
Performed procedures
Today, a new generation of more advanced technology, the successor to the Fibroscan, is available for more accurate diagnosis, with more reliable results in the detection of fatty deposits and structural abnormalities and scarring :the Fibrotouch. This is the device I use for my tests.
In children (over 15 kg body weight) and in extremely overweight patients, we obtain more reliable measurements, both for structure and fat content.
During the consultation, the patient has the option of a Fibrotouch examination, which has the important advantage of being performed on an outpatient basis, taking 10-15 minutes, is painless and the results are available immediately after the examination, with an assessment.
