Dr Pálinkás learnt the basics of rheumatology under great teachers at ORFI. He then became acquainted with the pharmaceutical aspects of rheumatology as an OGYI consultant, physician advisor and international research leader. Returning to practical patient care in 2015, he resumed professional discussions with his wife, a physiotherapist and manual therapist, also in the family circle.
As a rheumatologist, he has previously worked on osteoporosis, and as a clinical researcher, his main areas of expertise are pain syndromes and biological therapies for inflammatory joint diseases. Currently, he is mainly interested in pain syndromes of the spine and musculoskeletal system, and in pathologies of psychosomatic origin (such as fibromyalgia).
