As a rheumatologist, he has previously worked on osteoporosis, and as a clinical researcher, his main areas of expertise are pain syndromes and biological therapies for inflammatory joint diseases. Currently, he is mainly interested in pain syndromes of the spine and musculoskeletal system, and in pathologies of psychosomatic origin (such as fibromyalgia).
As a psychotherapist, he is also interested in the psychological origin of pain syndromes.
Dr. Pálinkás mastered the fundamentals of rheumatology at ORFI under the guidance of outstanding mentors. He then gained experience in the pharmacological aspects of rheumatology at OGYI—as a consultant, medical advisor, and international research leader.
