For patients suffering from gastrointestinal and biliary diseases requiring surgical treatment, he is in charge of the whole process of investigation, treatment and follow-up, from diagnosis to surgical treatment and post-operative follow-up.

After graduating in general medicine, he started working at the Department of Surgery of the Szent István Hospital, which was then also the Surgical Clinic III of the SOTE. He learned the basics and mastery of general, abdominal, gastroenterology, endoscopic diagnostics and therapy from outstanding specialists. He has been involved in the training of medical students and later in the training of medical specialists, and has been first author or co-author of numerous scientific publications and lectures.
