After graduating from university, I started working at the Department of Surgery of Róbert Károly Hospital in Budapest (which currently bears the name Nyírő Gyula). After obtaining my board certification, I worked as a specialist. Based on a successful application, I took part in vascular surgery training at the Vascular and Cardiac Surgery Institute of Semmelweis University, after which I passed my vascular surgery board examination. Subsequently, I learned about the experimental introduction of a new surgical procedure, which at that time was performed only by a few university clinics in the USA and Western Europe.
Among these was the renowned Heidelberg University Clinic, where I successfully applied to study and master the new type of surgery. With the assistance of a vascular surgeon colleague from Heidelberg, I was the first in Hungary to start performing radiofrequency varicose vein surgery. Over the years, I have gained substantial experience and practical skills in the care of patients with varicose veins and in the application of new surgical techniques.
