Job experience

Since 2006, I have been working as a physician at the B.A.Z. County Central Hospital and University Teaching Hospital, where I am the deputy head of the Stroke-Neurology-Toxicology Department and the head of the Stroke Unit. During my years in the department, I have participated in more than 30 clinical drug trials as an investigator, which has given me the opportunity to use a number of new, internationally recognized therapeutic options.

Performed procedures

My areas of expertise are vascular neurology, neurosonology, and somnology. My main areas of interest are the prevention and treatment of cerebral circulatory disorders and the care of patients who have suffered from them. In this regard, I perform ultrasound screening for carotid artery stenosis and, if detected, indicate the appropriate drug or device therapy (vascular surgery or catheterization). and ultrasound monitoring of patients who have undergone vascular surgery or catheter intervention.
