Dr. Erzsébet Sperr obtained her general medical degree in 1980 at Semmelweis University of Medicine in Budapest. She passed her board examination in internal medicine in 1986 and in cardiology in 1989.
Job experience
She worked for 2 years in the Cardiology Department of Tatabánya County Hospital, then from 1982 in the Cardiology Department of Péterfy Sándor Street Hospital, where she is currently the chief physician. Since 2003 she has been the head of the cardiology outpatient clinic at the Municipal Outpatient Clinic of District XVI of Budapest. In addition to general inpatient cardiology work, she has gained substantial experience in cardiac rehabilitation, intensive cardiology care and non-invasive cardiology diagnostic methods (echocardiography, Holter monitoring, ergometry).
