With experience of thousands of surgeries, I have been actively involved in the education of medical students and the training of specialist candidates for many years.I obtained my PhD in 2011 and habilitated in 2020.
I am involved in all aspects of vascular diseases including drug and surgical treatment of arteries and varicose veins, prevention of vascular diseases and lifestyle counselling. My main area of interest is the surgical treatment of dilated arteries (aneurysms) by catheter and open surgery.

Job experience
I worked as a surgical resident at the University of New York's Department of Surgery III and at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New York State. Since 1999, I have been working at the University's City Major Clinic, where I am Associate Professor of Vascular Surgery.
