I am from Székesfehérvár. I graduated from József Attila High School, and in 1982 I received my medical degree from the University of Pécs. I started working in the internal medicine department of the hospital in Mór, where I also passed the specialist examinations first in internal medicine, then in gastroenterology and occupational health. In fact, I was the one who set up the gastroenterology department at the hospital in Moravia, with the support of the directors. I worked my way up the ranks, eventually becoming head of the department of internal medicine. Later, I thought I would try my hand in a different environment. From 2007 to 2009, I worked in England as a consultant. It wasn't really the money that motivated me, but the experience, as evidenced by the fact that I came home after two years. I think I was able to learn a lot of new things in terms of learning the techniques of endoscopic examinations, and I was also able to do procedures that I could not do at home.
I currently head the internal medicine department and the gastroenterology laboratory at the hospital in Kisber. I am convinced that gastroscopies and colonoscopies, which are dreaded by patients, can be performed with a technique and drug preparation that does not cause patients any serious distress or discomfort. And it does not necessarily require an examination under general anaesthesia. I think that some of the patients in Kisbér and its surroundings, as well as in Mór, can attest to this since I have been working here again.
