“I have always been interested in tumour biology, so I started working on lung cancer research, and my thesis was entitled ”New diagnostic and therapeutic options for carcinoid tumours". As a PhD student, I also continued my research at the Department of Pulmonology, where my research focused on tumor immunology aspects of lung cancer. My PhD thesis was entitled “Inflammation and immune response in non-small cell lung cancer”."
He is a pathologist and cytopathologist.
