About

Common information

  • My main areas of interest are sports injuries of the knee joint and their arthroscopic treatment, sports injuries of the lower extremity due to overuse, degenerative knee joint lesions.

Education

  • Examination in Sports Medicine(2016)
  • Specialist examination in orthopaedics and traumatology(2008)

Job experience

  • I work in the Department of Sports Surgery at the National Institute of Sports Medicine.(2001)
  • I have taught anatomy at the Budapest College of Contemporary Dance, the Fitness Academy, the International Handball Coaching Center, and in anti-doping advisor training programs, as well as courses on sports injuries and their prevention at the Faculty of Physical Education at Semmelweis University.

Performed procedures

  • During an orthopaedic examination, the first step is to take a musculoskeletal history, which includes the patient's history of previous musculoskeletal diseases, operations, accidents (fractures, sprains, dislocations) and lifestyle information (sports, work).
  • The second step is the physical examination, during which the orthopaedic specialist examines the patient's gait, posture, joint range of motion and stability, and takes measurements with the help of instruments (angle and length measuring devices, arthrometer).
