The skin is the tissue that covers the outside of the human body and one of the largest organs - several square meters in size. One of its most important functions is to protect the body from external aggressions. Yet few people think of it as an organ, and its diseases are regularly overlooked. But we should pay attention to our skin because, in addition to its 'own' diseases, it can also be a sign of a number of internal problems.
