Within general ophthalmology, his main areas of interest are the retina, including electrophysiology, color vision, the examination of hereditary retinal diseases, and ophthalmic imaging examination methods. In his daily work, he places particular emphasis on prevention, early detection of lesions, and the prevention of more serious ophthalmic complications.
Education
He obtained his medical degree in 2003 and his PhD in 2006 from Semmelweis University, and passed his ophthalmology specialty exam in 2009.
Job experience
During his training, he went on several study trips to the Eye Clinic at the University of Tübingen in Germany, Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, England, and Radboud University in Nijmegen, the Netherlands.
He conducted his scientific work on hereditary retinal diseases, spending a year in Germany at the Molecular Genetics Laboratory of the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Tübingen.
Performed procedures
In addition to examinations and consultations, he also performs surgeries: cataract surgeries and vitreoretinal surgeries (vitrectomy).
