Dr. Csaba Vilmányi, pediatric cardiologist, graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Pécs in 2004. During his university studies, he conducted scientific research in the field of pediatric cardiology and pacemaker therapy. After graduating from university, he spent his residency years in the pediatric department of Balassa János County Hospital, then in the pediatric department of Cholnoky Ferenc Hospital in Veszprém, and after 2007, he worked at the Gottsegen György National Cardiology Institute. Meanwhile, as part of his basic training in pediatrics, he spent nearly two years in the Intensive Care Unit of the Children's Clinic in Pécs.
After completing his pediatric specialty exam, he began working full-time at the Children's Heart Center as a physician in the Pediatric Cardiology Intensive Care Unit. Since 2009, he has been treating patients who have undergone heart transplants and those awaiting transplants. In 2011, with the help of the Transplant Foundation, he participated for the first time in the "We're Going on Vacation Too" summer camp for organ transplant children, where he has returned every year since then as a volunteer.
