He qualified in surgery in 1982 and in vascular surgery in 1985.

Job experience

For three years, he was a faculty member and invited lecturer at the Montefiore Medical Center (Albert Einstein College) in New York. For many years, he performed demonstration surgeries at the "Nouvo Pellegrini" teaching hospital of the University of Naples.
After graduation, he worked for 32 years at the Department of Surgery I of the POTE.
