Despite the generally accepted principles, I believe that all inflammatory vaginal processes are associated problems, and therefore their treatment is always two- or more-sided. I am deeply disgusted when women are advised to undergo the umpteenth, useless vaginal treatment without looking at them.
I feel fortunate and proud that after 50 years I still love my profession and that I can put the good and bad experiences I have accumulated over that time at the service of my patients.
