I assess and treat patients with depressive and anxiety disorders using psychotherapeutic and, if necessary, pharmacotherapeutic methods. Stress management can also be done through autogenic training.
The number of adult patients suffering from depression in our country is estimated at around 700,000. This is about twice the number of adults who have experienced a major depressive episode at least once, and about 260,000 experience major depressive symptoms every month. This disorder has a serious negative impact on the ability to work, impairs the patient's self-esteem, social relationships and quality of life - in severe cases it can lead to suicidal tendencies.
