As a holistic healer, I try to convey the importance of health awareness to my patients. The view that we are not victims of our circumstances, but can do a lot for ourselves by listening to our body's signals, understanding how it works, and by maintaining our health and preventing disease. The majority of people do not live their lives this way, so it takes time to re-tune. For me, facilitating this process is one of the most important tasks in my work. But as a doctor, it is also uplifting to see someone cured of endometriosis, PCO syndrome, to reduce the after-effects of a stroke, to get a paralysed limb moving again or to bring a quiet day back to someone with constant tinnitus. This dedication has accompanied me throughout my life.

Job experience
Before I chose medicine as my profession, I worked for advertising agencies, made films, took photographs, and did artistic work, but even in my twenties I was already working as a naturopath in Germany. Thus I already had experience with the effects and possibilities of alternative methods, yet I decided to enroll in medical school. After a few years I left it, because based on my personal convictions and experience I felt that with this I would not be able to heal in the way I envisioned in my visions. The turning point came with my travels to China and India, where I met healers who completely changed my ideas about the world and about diseases.
After graduating from university, I set up a centre modelled on Chinese hospitals, where, in addition to acupuncture, I also offer hormone counselling, therapeutic massages, Bemer beds, relaxation treatments, and treatments with ICOON-LPG machines. This has led to a noticeably faster recovery than if we had only used acupuncture.
