The professor's research work covers the study of many skin diseases (psoriasis, cutaneous T cell lymphoma, erysipelas, drug sensitivity, ulcus cruris, Kaposi's sarcoma, cosmetic pathologies, etc.). His research interests include the function of the skin immune system, the immunological role of epithelial cells, tumour immunology (melanoma), the mechanism of wound healing, factors influencing wound healing and the introduction of new stem cell and dendritic cell therapies into clinical practice.

Job experience

For decades he has conducted research in dermatology and immunology, and was the head of the Department of Dermatology and Non-Medical Dermatology at the University of Debrecen.
