In 1969, he graduated from the Faculty of General Medicine of the Budapest (now Semmelweis) University of Medicine with a summa cum laude qualification.
In 1981, he successfully passed the neurosurgery examination.
Job experience
From 1988, head of department, then from 1993 to 2007, director general of the National Institute of Neurosurgery
From 1992, he participated in the relaunch of the SOTE graduate neurosurgery education, and from 1994, he took over the management of the HIETE Department of Neurosurgery, initially as an associate professor, and then, after his habilitation in 1996, as a university professor (currently Semmelweis University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Neurosurgery).
