In the field of infectious diseases, I am most interested in the care of adult patients with compromised immune systems. I am currently involved in the prevention of hospital-acquired infections at two hospitals with high rates of infection. In outpatient specialty care, I provide vaccination counseling for adults with compromised immune systems, as well as for those planning trips to tropical and Mediterranean destinations.
During my training in immunology, I came to realize just how crucial it is for a doctor to have psychological knowledge in the doctor-patient relationship. This motivated me to pursue training as a psychotherapist. Among my plans is the establishment of a psychosomatic outpatient clinic.
