I graduated as a psychologist from the University of Debrecen and subsequently earned my certification as a clinical psychologist specializing in adults at the Debrecen Institute of Continuing Medical Education. I have been working at the clinic for decades, in daily, direct therapeutic contact with patients—where psychological or physical pain is not theoretical, not symbolic, not subjective, but painfully real.
My areas of expertise include oncopsychology and the fascinating topic of burnout, particularly the monitoring and maintenance of the mental, emotional, and physical health of doctors and healthcare workers. In my clinical practice, however, I address all mental health conditions and challenges that arise at the intersection of body and mind: psychosomatic symptoms, anxiety, mood disorders, difficulties with life management, the psychological strain associated with chronic physical illnesses—that is, somatopsychology—crisis situations, grief processing, or the process of self-discovery. I always tailor my therapeutic tools and approaches to the individual’s life situation and needs.
