In children, sharp vision is essential for the development of the nervous system, for motor development and for the proper functioning of spatial orientation. My special interests and research interests include the diagnosis and treatment of ophthalmic abnormalities associated with childhood learning difficulties and behavioural problems, the diagnosis and appropriate management of ophthalmic abnormalities associated with various neurological pathologies, and the diagnosis and appropriate management of ophthalmic abnormalities associated with rare diseases.
